Visiting the NLP Classroom

This summer, 2 of the members of NLP hopped on a plane and went to Kampala to visit the students in our classroom!

While there, they also met with Agnes, our wonderful teacher, and members of the Operations Committee - a few people, on the ground, who are committed to helping these students get an education.

With a full agenda:  meetings with local artizans, (for crafts to bring home to sell as fundraising); shopping for desks and chairs, (much needed supplies for the classroom); and many more meetings with the goal of meeting the various needs of our students - our 2 intrepid members worked diligently to reaffirm our commitment to helping the students of the NLP Classroom.
